Denisa is a graduate of the Faculty of History and Philosophy at UBB, Cluj-Napoca. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from 2013 to 2016, followed by a Master’s degree in Leadership and Communication in International Organisations from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Denisa has completed Teaching Modules qualifying her to teach high school students and beyond.

Denisa’s passion for history has been a driving force throughout her academic journey. She believes that history encompasses everyone’s story and serves as a testament to human resilience and courage. Recognising the impact of past individuals’ actions inspires Denisa to encourage others to leave their mark on the world and contribute to shaping history.

Throughout her university years, Denisa actively participated in various projects, both as a volunteer and a coordinator. She finds fulfillment in teamwork and helping others discover new ideas and express themselves. This led her to join the Royal School in 2017 as a teacher assistant for Year 2 and a History teacher for KS3. In 2018, Denisa obtained certification as a Duke of Edinburgh International Award leader, guiding students in developing new skills and self-improvement. Since 2019, she has served as a Humanities teacher (covering History, Geography, and Business Studies) and a Key Stage Coordinator for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Denisa’s goal is to make learning engaging and relatable for her students, ensuring they find connections and topics they enjoy discussing. She continuously seeks innovative teaching methods to create an enjoyable learning environment for all. As a Duke of Edinburgh leader, Denisa aims to empower participants to recognise the significance of every step they take and the impact they can make by stepping out of their comfort zones and striving for personal growth.
