Biography
Iulia is an artist born and based in Cluj. She has a Certificate of Vocational Proficiency in Monumental Arts and most of her works are represented in paintings and linocut prints.
She comes from an artistic family where her grandfather was a theater set painter at the Hungarian State Theatre of Cluj for almost thirty years. Art was always a legacy for the family, as her son is a graduated artist, too.
The passion for teaching started five years ago when she did art and craft events starting small, in summer school programs, teaching drawing and painting lessons in private and going big in many community events with different art projects for kids.
Iulia believes that children learn to speak by speaking, think by thinking, write by writing, read by reading, draw by drawing, paint by painting, and create by creating. They learn to communicate by being able to represent and express themselves as living and imaginative human beings. That being said, everybody should take art functions as a language because it is a communication system in which visual statements clarify ideas and stimulate further ones.
As a teacher at Royal School, Iulia wants to share her passion for arts, help every student connect more deeply to the world and create the uncreated.
In her spare time she is an artisan perfumer, loves cooking, traveling and photography
