Biography
Olimpia graduated from the National Pedagogical College “Gheorghe Lazar” in Cluj-Napoca with a Teaching Certification for Primary and Pre-school Education. She, then, followed the courses of NHL Stenden University in The Netherlands, graduating with a B.Ed. in International Primary School Education. She minored in Early Childhood Education, with a specific in the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches. She also minored in Music and Musical Education and attended an Erasmus program in Primary School Musical Education at the “Gheorghe Dima” National Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca.
Previously, she worked in international schools in Romania, The Netherlands, Belgium and latest Israel (in third grade).
She likes to believe that her most important role in educations is, beyond teaching young learners, to make sure that each and every students feels seen and heard and that they each have a voice of their own.
She love learning about different cultures and their individuality. She thinks a multicultural environment is the perfect place for growth.
She loves knowing that, in her teaching, she helps create generations of curious, open-minded, critical thinking students that are always ready for an ever-changing society.
In her free time, music is her passion. She has been playing piano for the past 19 years. She loves arts, having a hobby in photography, water painting and black-and-white crayon drawing. She loves reading and is always on the lookout for a good book. She is patient, curious, organized, and positive and always looking to develop, grow and learn more. She likes animals and loves recharging her batteries in nature.
